We did not breed any litter from our kennel between February 1996 and July 1999. In spring of 1999, we were fortunate to lease SG Tessa von der Maineiche, SchH2, KKL1, a-normal hips, from our friend Randy Tyson Witmer. Tessa had produced a very good litter in Germany with SG Beppo vom Geiersnest, under B-litter from the Stoffelblick kennel.

Dam: SG Tessa von der Maineiche, SchH2,KKL1, a normal hips. Tessa was a German import, was a daughter of Lewis vom Maletesta, a 4-times BSP and I time WUSV competitor, who finished second at the BSP twice. Tessa’s mother Ines, was a Neck von der Maineiche daughter and a Sagus Busecker Schloss grandaughter. Tessa was one tough girl, with big head, big dark eyes, very good pigmentation, very good aggression, and very high ball drive. Tessa was everything we were looking for to breed to Arek, and thank God, for once, we were right!
This litter produced Chief, and Count, both KKL1, and competed at the USA National SchH3 Championship, and Caasha (got praiseworthy pronounced courage and fighting instinct at the breed survey). All the dogs X-rayed from this litter had good hips and elbows, no long coats, no missing teeth, and no undescended testicles. Randy repeated the same breeding under J-litter from her kennel name, and the results were similar.
